05 — Limits
What we will not tell you
A risk tool that overstates what it knows is worse than none.
- No freeze probability. We measured it: most wallets frozen in a period did not exist when the prediction would have been made. We report exposure that exists, never odds we cannot stand behind.
- A failed check is never reported as clean. If we could not reach the chain, we say so.
- An exchange is not judged by its customers. A public hot wallet deals with everyone, so counterparty risk says nothing about it. We label it and move on.
- Bitcoin has no freeze mechanism. Nobody can freeze BTC — not Tether, not us. We screen and trace it; we do not pretend otherwise.
