USDT blacklist checker

Paste any TRON or Ethereum address to see whether Tether has blacklisted it, when, and in which transaction. Free, instant, and no signup.

Free, no signup. We never ask for keys, seed phrases, or a connected wallet. Read-only.

What "blacklisted" actually means

Tether can freeze any USDT wallet directly on the contract. The balance stays visible in the wallet, but it can never move again. There is no appeal, no timeout, and no process to contest it. Circle can do the same with USDC.

It is worse than a frozen bank account, because there is nobody to call. We have recorded 10,958 addresses across TRON and Ethereum since 2018, and 2,222 of those had their balance permanently destroyed afterwards.

Why check before you accept, not after

If you accept USDT from a wallet that is already blacklisted, the transfer simply fails. The real damage is subtler: taking funds that came through a flagged wallet puts your own address on the same graph that enforcement follows.

We measured this. Of the wallets frozen shortly after dealing with an already-frozen wallet, the median gap was 123 seconds, and 65% landed within the hour. Enforcement arrives in clusters, not one wallet at a time.

That is a measured distribution across wallets that were frozen. It is not a prediction about any particular wallet, and we do not publish one.

The warning that comes before the freeze

On TRON, a freeze needs two signatures from Tether. The first one is public and lands on-chain minutes before the second. That gap is the only moment the funds can still move, and most tools never look at it — they tell you after the balance is already locked.

Median gap between proposal and freeze: about 10 minutes. Sometimes hours. One in ten is under a minute. We detect the proposal in about 6.5 seconds and alert whoever is watching that wallet.

Watch a wallet instead of checking it

A check tells you about right now. The bot watches an address continuously and messages you within seconds if a freeze proposal is filed against it — while the funds can still move.
